There is a small, very pretty, sheltered beach in town with calm shallow water, sunbed hire and a beach bar less than 10 minutes walk if you prefer sand. Take a room with a sea view if you can - it was one of the things we loved most. The location is fabulous just steps away from the beautiful rocky waterfront complete with plenty of bathing platforms and comfortable sun beds. This story doesn’t do justice to how kind the staff were, what it meant to us and how good a place can be when people go that bit further. Needless to say both were found and repatriated following a 32KM trip and much fan fair.
